Faint Whispers of a Dream
Sometimes worlds go untouched, ideas become left only to dream, to become a faint, yet soft wind barely illuminating the prevalent ghastly glow of the midnight sun. Take hold to the impossible, the unknown, the fathomable that seems only yet idealistic in the realms of the mind. For only than, will u show the true essence of the ingenuity of humanity itelf.....

Hidden Doors
This post is an Sentiment of Life brought about by some conversations with my mom and friends from the last few days, and I thought this post could be of use for all those who are seeking riches and happiness, :D
Sentiment of Life (05.31.2011)
Sentiment of Life (05.31.2011)
Sometimes, what you are looking for is literally right in front of your eyes. A multiple of closed doors, but yet hidden in the shrouds of one’s outlook of the world.
People always dream of winning the lottery, but most don’t realize that 100 million dollars stands right before them. Not in the sense of monetary value, but in doorways and opportunities that are missed every single day.
People always dream of the perfect relationship, the perfect guy/gal, but sometimes, while dreaming, they forget about the perfect possibilities that surround them.
There is such a thing as a perfect relationship, but not in the way many people think. True perfection in a relationship surpasses personality, outshines looks, and circumvents the physical realities that surround the two lovers.
The keys to every dream and aspiration, whether it be a riches or a relationship, hinge on the decisions one makes. Many times, these keys lie before your very eyes, in the most conspicuous of locations, just waiting to be taken. I can tell you from experience, one who attains the keys to the beat-up door that no-one dares go near, may have their very reality transformed forever with riches and happiness on the new road they walk.
For just as in business, while more risk can bring about greater defeat, more risk can make success just that much more worthwhile.

Conflict Resolution
Sentiment of Life (05.28.2011)
The purity of rational shall always prevail over the fallacies of anger and conflict.
Say Subject A curses you out, calls you names, and insults you:
What If
You DID NOT respond angrily, yell at him back, or even deny his rhetoric
What If
You said Thank You and then became silent? How Would Subject A React?
Eventually, Subject A would realize that he is not receiving a reaction and stop yelling.
With no response, Subject A was never yelling even at you but alternatively taking out his frustration at the non-existent whisper of the air that surrounds him.
Yes, I will agree, anger and conflict are unavoidable. However, your reactions signify the difference between a wildfire and a small spark.

Sentiment of Life [Love Edition]
I have witnessed many interesting revelations this week on the theories of love. I warn, I am no expert, but below are my external observations that at least some of the world may agree with.
Sentiment of Life (05.24.2011) [7 Love Quotes]
1. Never can one predict the turmoil’s and satisfaction of relationships.
2. Never can a relationship or love be predicted as the stock market. There are no calculations, no equation for success, no rational, it’s a go with the flow analysis where the unexpected may just surprise you.
3. To confess your feelings to the one you are crushing on, will earn you 50 bonus points in the game of love.
4. Next time, a person asks you out, tell the him/her a straight answer, because personally speaking, think about how you would feel, if you had to wait for an answer, hoping it was yes, but all along it was no. Does this feeling not hurt?
5. Consider this, after getting rejected evaluate was your crush really good enough for you, or could you do better?
6. With every rejection comes an even greater potential for growth
Finally, to top it all off.
7. NEVER rate the girl you like if you are going to tell her an answer that would question her outlook on herself, her beauty and her confidence in one shot. Not even Will Smith from Hitch can fix that situation.
In fact, it’s probably not wise to rate anyone on a numbering system at all, lol.
Defeat: In Perspective
Today’s Sentiment of life relies on the Aspect of Defeat.
This post is a philosophical inspiration that has enabled me to overcome some small defeats of my own last week. I suffered a huge set-back, which would have made many people frustrated, and depressed. Honestly, I was depressed for approximately three hours. However, as I compared the loss in perspective to my personal victories I have attained overall, this issue became a figment of pointless thinking.

Sentiment of Life (05.12.2011)
A defeat is resemblance of what you will it to be. If you take defeat into the perspective of your numerous victories, than is defeat really a loss? Or just an obstacle you need to overcome to arrive to your next destination.
Remember, obstacles make us who we are destined to be, victories are the products of our perseverance over such challenges.

The True Persona of Human Rational
This week, I have been trying to decipher the secret to the decisions one makes and its reliance on their personality. This sentiment of life is designed to represent my thought patterns and conclusion for this methodological question.
Sentiment of Life (05.05.2011)
Always view ones persona as a subjective pretext to their true nature.
Many times the way one acts is not just an aura of colors, sounds and actions. It is not as simple as vision itself.
One’s persona in actuality, is a true entity of one’s experiences, the self-aspiration that lies in the mirror, an inconspicuous shroud for the persona one may fear themselves.
The above is not designed to be a negative nor positive analogy of human rational, but more so a sentiment of life that is designed to open up one’s thinking, one's understanding and most importantly ones compassion to the diversity that enshrouds everyone of us in our everyday lives.

The Pinnacle Of Success
Success is what every human being strives for in the end. However, today’s quote revolves around a thought process I have had this week, and on whether a certain obstacle that has stained my past; Can it be utilized as a pinnacle, a blind fold or can it be neither.
Sentiment of Life (04.29.2011)
Today, I learned that success is formed by obstacles, the lessons you learn as well as your experiences. However, in the same manner, obstacles are always multi-tier and they leave you with pain, and the questioning of Why. While, this pain is part of the healing, it should be used as a pivotal but not as a foot stool to your success.
Obstacles in your past, experiences that have made you stronger, utilize them as a pivotal of perseverance to achieve the long-term plan.
True success is not created from those who said you can’t but, it is an embodiment of every single person who said you can.

This blog post is in actuality, a sentiment of life that evaluates the true value of time and it’s affect on ones future. Remember, that all decisions create paths to and fro ones destination. Similarly, life is really just a series of streets in an unfamiliar town; with no map, no GPS navigation in this eerie location relies on the decision of the driver.
Sentiment of Life (04.28.2011)
1. Time is solely reliant on the value we give it.
2. Those who dwell in the now of today and the immediate of tomorrow, stay trapped in a never-ending cycle of defeat and surprises.
3. However, the entities that shatter the figments of the present to cross to the never-ending opportunities of the future; their visions shall become reality

Student Success Thesis: (Part 1)
Student Success is a debatable topic in the realm of education. As a student myself, I have a personal opinion on student success. My thesis of course would take a few pages to outline, so in my blog over the next month or so, I will be throwing out bits and pieces of my analysis on how to make a student successful.
Student Success is based on three stages of student development.
Awareness, Interaction, and Engagement
Sentiments of Life (04.22.2011)
I would like to define the two pinnacles of college life: Academics and Student Life
Academics in terms of student life are similar to individuals who were just taught how to drive, with only 40 hours of driving experience.
Student Life is the measurable length of time for a human being to, become an experienced driver, to determine your own feel of the road, and to become comfortable of the twists and turns that lay ahead.
Academics and student life go hand in hand. They are a circle of life for student development. They are the keys to unlocking, the three stages of student success, Awareness, Interaction and Engagement.

The Truth of Words
On a personal standpoint, words have been the fore bringer of success as well as defeats in my life. Words are many times the reasoning to my perseverance business, college life, as well as myself as a human being. I would like to ask anyone who reads this post to do the following.
Give a simple Thank You, to someone you know. You can thank them for anything, whether it be for feeding you, to driving you home, to being able to support you in everything that you do.
Sentiments of Life (04.20.2011)
Words are the most powerful of all tools, transverse in itself, as seeds of doubt, or powerful lessons of phenomenal growth. However, in the end is the receiver of these words that determines their direction, their purpose, and their purpose of your destiny.
Even the smallest thanks, in terms of words can become the small token of appreciation that leaves a precursor to a blooming flower of happiness

NCSL Conference (Day 3: Part 3)
Today, the 3rd day of this conference, I received a text from the organization I am part of, stating, that they were not happy on where Phi Theta Kappa was going. After this text, I became very defensive and frustrated.
During this conference, I learned about a concept known as Win/Win. Taking this concept in hand, in time I realized that why should I worry about this? If our team members are motivated to improve our organization, than there is no rightful reason to say anything against it.
I came to this conference with two goals, increasing knowledge in both organizational psychology and marketing. However, what I did not expect was to have a complete alteration of my leadership style. After, attending today’s seminars, I realized that each conflict of ideas that teams have can be solved by creating a plan where both parties get what they want.
Sentiments of Life: (04.09.2011)
A Win/Win situation is like a tug of war between two teams. Rather than tug at the rope, both teams drop the rope and state we both win. How did they both win?
Neither team fell on the ground; thus neither team lost. Both teams were standing at the end of the game thus both teams won.
This situation is a defacto of life. Winning and losing are solutions in itself, but when everyone wins, it is not only a solution it is catalyst for growth.
NCSL Conference (Day 3: Part 1)
Today I am attending Day 3 of the NCSL Conference, and of course it has surprised me once again in the aspect of diversity. When I woke up today, I thought my mentality was very diverse, but in fact, it was not as diverse as I would have perceived. Another key concept, I learned was that the key to being a leader is to be able stand up and take the initiative, even when the odds are completely against you
Sentiments of Life (04.09.2011)
Think about the stigma we put on words, such as the N-Word, the B-Word, the F-Word, even the word special, are they really bad? Or is it the stigma we put on it.
I believe, a word is just a word, until we as human beings define it's meaning and the power it has, whether it be for positive motivation or negative retribution.
__________________________________________________________________________
Think about what happens if no-one takes the initiative to stand up for what is right in context to Germany.
- When they came for the Jews, I did not do anything.
- When they cam for the writers and thinkers, I did not say anything
- When they came for the those of color, I did not say anything
- And When they came to me, I turned around, and around yet there was nobody left.
